Best Sword Team: Sobble Chosen

Since Milo specializes in Grass types, getting a second Pokemon for the first gym is basically a requirement. In my previous two posts, I suggested getting a Cutiefly for this gym as well as others, but if you have Sobble, you should instead get a Budew. Since Budew is a Poison type, it can be used for Milo’s gym, but its Grass type can also be used for Nessa’s gym. On Route 6, you can get a Hawlucha for Bea’s team, and a Durant and a Ground type for Opal’s team. For Opal, you can use your Ground type for her Weezing and Mawile, and Durant for her Togekiss and Alcremie. For Gordie, you can use Budew for his Barbaracle, Durant for Stonjourner and Shuckle, and your Ground type for Coalossal. For Piers, use your Durant for his Malamar, your Ground type for his Skuntank, and Hawlucha for everything else. Get a Glalie on Route 9 for Raihan. Use Glalie for his Flygon, Budew for Sandaconda, and your Ground type for everything else.
