Crown Tundra: Legendary Golems

The second DLC pack for Sword and Shield was released in December of last year. My next few posts will be talking about what is available in them.

The Crown Tundra introduced two new golems alongside the existing Regirock, Regice, and Registeel (who can also be found in the Crown Tundra). Regirock and Registeel are both found in the Giant’s Bed. To find Regirock, head south from Freezington and past the Old Cemetery. Eventually you will find a river; at that point head east. You will need to keep left. In order to open the ruins, the first Pokemon in your party will need to hold an Everstone. Once you get inside, you will need to step on all the dots then inspect the statue (this is the same for the other two golems). Once you do that, you will start a battle with it (all the golems besides the last one are level 70). To find Registeel, again head south from Freezington and Frostpoint Field. Hang to the western wall on your right. To open these ruins, you simply need to whistle. Regice is located in the Snowslide Slope. Once again, head south from Freezington and hang to the left. Go past the farm and you will eventually see a snowy path. Once you reach the fork in the road, go to the left. You will need to have a Cryogonal as the first Pokemon in your party to open the door. Once you catch tjese three golems, head to Three-Point Pass. Head south from Freezington again and hang to the left. Ignore the snowy path and head east until you find a river flowing into a cave. Go through the cave until you find a coast. Bike onto the water and turn right; you should see a slope. Head up it and once you see a fork in the road, take a left. As long as you have the three golems in your party you can open the door. Here you can make a choice as to what golem you want to encounter. There’s Regidrago, which is a Dragon type, and Regieleki, which is an Electric type. Once you draw the pattern of which golem you want to encounter and inspect the statue, it is impossible to encounter the other (i.e. if you encounter Regidrago you cannot encounter Regieleki and vice versa). You can still make a choice as long as the statue isn’t inspected. Regigigas can also be found in the Crown Tundra but you will need all five of the golems in order to encounter it, which means you will need the golem you did not choose (Regieleki if you chose Regidrago or Regidrago if you chose Regieleki). There is a raid den in the Snowslide Slope that, if interacted with when you have all the five golems in your party, will start a raid battle with a level 100 Regigigas as the opponent. You can only participate in this raid by yourself. If you manage to defeat it, however, it has a 100% catch rate.
