Gible is a melee all-rounder. Unlike most other Pokemon, its basic attack is boosted every fifth use and restores this character’s HP. Additionally, every basic attack hit will increase the attacking speed for a short period of time. It has a choice of two moves, Sand Attack and Bulldoze. The first deals no damage but lowers the opponent’s field of vision and increases Gible’s movement and attack speed for a short period of time. The other deals damage. At level 5, Gible evolves into Gabite and replaces Sand Attack with either Dragon Rush or Dig. The first pushes opponents, while the other throws them into the air. At level 7, Bulldoze gets replaced with either Earthquake or Dragon Claw. The first deals more damage but with no special effect. The other attacks in two swipes; the first throws the opponent into the air, while the second does more damage than the first. This increases Gabite’s attack speed for a short period of time regardless of whether it lands or not. At level 9, Gabite evolves into Garchomp and learns the Unite Move Livid Outrage. This is a powerful chain attack, with the last hit throwing opponents into the air. However, this leaves Garchomp unable to act briefly afterwards. At level 11, Dig grants a reduction in the amount of damage Garchomp receives for a short time after use. Dragon Rush will slow opponents shortly after being hit. At level 13, Earthquake slows down opponents, and Dragon Claw deals more damage (in addition to the attack increase from leveling up). This character’s ability is Rough Skin and is always active. If it is hit with a melee attack, the attacker will take a portion of the total damage dealt.
