Mr. Mime is a melee supporter whose basic attack results is boosted every third use and makes the opponent unable to act briefly. It has a choice of two moves, Fake Out and Light Screen. The first pushes back opponent. The other creates a barrier that cannot be passed through by the enemy, but it can be by Mr. Mime and its allies. At level 4, Fake Out gets replaced with either Psychic or Confusion. The first centers a blast around Mr. Mime, which damages any nearby Pokemon and lowers their special defense for a short period of time. The other pushes back opponents, but they take increased damage if they hit an obstacle. At level 6, Light Screen gets replaced with either Barrier or Guard Swap. Barrier is the exact same as Light Screen, but you can put up an additional wall rather than just one at a time. Guard Swap can be used on allies or opponents, and it works differently for each. On an opponent, it deals continuous damage and slows it down while speeding Mr. Mime up; on an ally, it increases the speed of both Mr. Mime and the ally. At level 9, Mr. Mime learns its Unite Move Showtime! This affects an area and deals continuous damage to anyone inside, as well as making them unable to act. At level 11, Confusion deals more damage (in addition to the attack increase from leveling up) and Psychic decreases the movement speed of opponents. At level 13, Barrier will have more uses at a time and Guard Swap will restore HP of Mr. Mime if used on an opponent, and both it and an ally if used on one. Mr. Mime’s ability is Filter, which reduces the amount of damage taken briefly after using a move.
