Pokemon Unite: Trevenant

Phantump is a melee defender, whose basic attack is boosted every third use that restores its HP. It has a choice of two moves, Will-o-Wisp or Branch Poke. The first works exactly the same way as Gastly’s does, and the other slows down opponents. At level 5, Phantump evolves into Trevenant and replaces Will-o-Wisp with either Curse or Wood Hammer. The first takes some of Trevenant’s HP and creates a zone around itself that continually damages and slows down opponents nearby. The less HP Trevenant has, the greater the decrease in movement speed. If Trevenant gets hit whilst using this move, it will deal more damage. There is a cap for how powerful it can be, and when it has reached this, the cooldown of its other move will reset. The other move will bring any opponents hit in front of the user and leaving them unable to act for a short period of time. If it lands once, there is an additional attack that can be used that has the same effect. The lower Trevenant’s HP, the longer they will be unable to act. At level 7, Branch Poke gets replaced with either Pain Split or Horn Leech. The first creates a link between the user and an opponent. Any damage dealt to Trevenant will cause the hitter to take a portion of the damage dealt as well. The lower Trevenant’s HP, the bigger the portion of damage redirected. Additionally, if Trevenant’s HP is less than the opponent’s, it will continually restore HP and deal damage to the opponent. The link can break if the opponent is too far away, though. It will break after a set amount of time as well. The other move shoves opponents, throws them into the air, and heals HP if the move lands. It will restore more HP the less HP Trevenant has. Additionally, the next three basic attacks will deal more damage and reduce this move’s cooldown when used. At level 9, Trevenant learns the Unite Move Phantom Forest. This move throws opponents into the air and slows them down. Additionally, any affected opponents will take more damage from any basic attacks, even ones from allies. Trevenant also gets a shield, and the shield will be more durable the more opponents that were hit. Finally, Trevenant heals more HP while the shield is active. At level 11, Wood Hammer’s second hit will lower the damage output of any hit Pokemon for a short period of time, and Curse will have a larger area of effect. At level 13, Horn Leech will increase Trevenant’s speed for a short period of time, and Pain Split will last for longer. This character’s ability is Natural Cure, which works differently than Chansey and Blissey’s. If this character is at low HP, it will restore HP for a short period of time, and reduce the cooldowns of its moves. There is a cooldown for this ability, though. In other words, if this ability was activated too recently, it will not activate even if it’s at low health. However, this cooldown can be reduced by landing moves on opponents.
