Pokemon Unite: Duraludon

Duraludon is a ranged attacker, whose basic attack is boosted every third use that has more range and can hit multiple Pokemon. It has a choice of two moves, Laser Focus and Metal Claw. The first reduces the damage Duraludon takes for a short period of time, then the user’s basic attacks will deal additional damage up to a maximum of three times. The other decreases the movement speed of any Pokemon it hits, and will guarantee the next basic attack is a critical hit. At level 5, Laser Focus gets replaced with either Flash Cannon or Dragon Pulse. The first decreases the movement speed of any Pokemon in the nearby area. Additionally any basic attacks will reach farther, slow any hit Pokemon, and deal more damage while Duraludon is using this move. The other can be charged, and while that is happening, Duraludon’s movement speed will increase. It will deal more damage and have a wider effect when charged. Additionally, Duraludon can “mark” opponents if it hits them, and marked Pokemon will take more damage from this move. Multiple “marks” can be on the same Pokemon, but once Dragon Pulse lands, the “marks” are removed. At level 7, Metal Claw gets replaced with either Stealth Rock or Dragon Tail. Stealth Rock works similarly to Crustle’s, but you can have multiple in reserve although they are smaller. The stones will decrease movement speed of any Pokemon that walk through them. If a Pokemon is in there long enough, they will be immobilized for a short period of time. Additionally, the next basic attack is guaranteed to result in a critical hit. You start with two of these. The other shoves Pokemon and pushes Duraludon back as well. Additionally, you can also have multiple uses of these, and you start with two, and the next basic attack is guaranteed to result in a critical hit as well. At level 9, Duraludon learns its Unite Move Revolving Ruins. Duraludon fires a beam of light in a circle. If this beam hits a Pokemon, Duraludon will get a shield and have increased attack. These effects are amplified by the number of Pokemon hit. Any opponents in this circle will progressively take damage while inside the circle. Additionally, trying to enter the circle will cause damage and slow you down. At level 11, Flash Cannon will cause Pokemon to be unable to act for a short period of time during the initial part of this move, and Dragon Pulse will restore the user’s HP if it KOs a Pokemon. At level 13, Dragon Tail will deal more damage (in addition to the boost from leveling up) and Stealth Rock will get one more reserve. Duraludon’s ability is Heavy Metal, which prevents it from being shoved or thrown. It has a cooldown, though, so if a move lands that would have thrown or shoved it and another one is used right after, it will get thrown or shoved.
