Clefairy is a melee supporter whose basic attack is boosted every third use. It has a choice of two moves, Disarming Voice and Heal Pulse. The first deals damage to nearby opponents and decreases their movement speed, while the other immediately restores the user’s HP, as well as any nearby allies. At level 4, it evolves into Clefable, and Heal Pulse gets replaced with either Moonlight or Draining Kiss. The first has Clefable continually restore it and any nearby ally Pokemon for a brief period of time, and its movement speed is increased while doing so. The other works similarly to Sylveon’s, except the drained health can go to any nearby allies, provided their health is lower than Clefable’s. If there is more than one ally, it goes to whoever has less health. At level 6, Disarming Voice gets replaced with either Gravity or Follow Me. The first creates an area in which Clefable’s basic attacks deal more damage, and opponents have decreased movement speeds and an inability to use dash moves. Any opponent that tries to use a dash move outside that sends it into the area will be left unable to act for a brief period of time, and the move will be stopped. The other has Clefable move to a designated location, and any opponents it makes contact with will be forced to attack it using their basic attacks. Clefable gets a shield to reduce the damage taken. At level 8, Clefable learns the Unite Move Wonder Wish, which creates an area of effect in which allies restore health, and the lower their health, the more HP is restored. It also gets one of five random moves that can be used afterwards: Close Combat (works similarly to Lucario’s), Hyper Beam, Block, Fly, and Hydro Pump (which does not deal one hit like Blastoise’s, but instead deals multiple). At level 10, Moonlight will have a wider range and a longer duration, and Draining Kiss will be able to hit opponents from farther away and restores more health. At level 12, Gravity will have a longer duration and wider range, and Follow Me will increase the user’s defense and special defense while active. This character’s ability is Magic Guard, which gives it a shield effect whenever it restores an ally’s health, of which the durability is proportional to how much health was restored.
