Dreepy is a ranged attacker, whose has a gauge that increases every time its basic attack connects with an opponent or wild Pokemon. Once this gauge is full, its basic attack becomes boosted, and as long as the gauge stays full, it always will be. This gauge decreases if it does not deal damage for long enough. It has a choice of two moves, Quick Attack and Astonish. The first is a dash that increases Dreepy’s attacking speed for a brief period of time, while the other decreases an opponent’s movement speed. At level 5, Dreepy evolves into Drakloak, and Quick Attack gets replaced with either Dragon Dance or Phantom Force. The first has Drakloak move either clockwise or counter clockwise, and its basic attack will be used more rapidly against any nearby opponents, although the damage from the basic attack will be less than if it was used normally. The move can be cancelled early by moving the circle pad, in which case, Drakloak will move in that direction. If Drakloak assists in knocking out a Pokemon while using this move, its cooldown of 12 seconds will be reduced. If it knocks out an opponent, it can be used again immediately. The other has Drakloak enter stealth, and while doing so, its gauge increases. When it exits stealth, its attack speed is increased for a brief period of time. Knocking out an opponent while knowing this move will reduce the cooldown to zero, and Drakloak’s attack will increase until the end of the battle, and this effect can stack. At level 7, Astonish gets replaced with either Shadow Ball or Dragon Breath. The first deals damage and marks Pokemon. Marked Pokemon take increased damage from Drakloak, but after they take a fourth hit, the mark is removed, but the user recovers HP. The other exhales a gust in a designated direction, which decreases their movement speed, and leaves the ground burning for a few seconds. Should any opponent walk through this, they also take damage and are slowed down. This move can be used while Dragon Dance is being utilized, and its cooldown is reduced to zero whenever Dragon Dance is used. At level 9, Drakloak evolves into Dragapult and learns its Unite Move Dreep and Destroy. This move has Dragapult launch two Dreepy, which can hit one or two opponents with one use. The lower the opponent’s HP, the more damage they deal. Dragapult can have a maximum of two reserves for this move. At level 11, Dragon Dance will restore Dragapult’s HP whenever its basic attacks land, and Phantom Force’s cooldown can be reduced whenever it deals damage through a basic attack. At level 13, Shadow Ball will deal more base and additional damage, and Dragon Breath will deal more damage and further decrease movement speed. This character’s ability is Clear Body, which reduces the duration of debuff effects inflicted on it.
