The Eevee that evolves into Leafeon is similar to the one that evolves into Glaceon, in the sense that both have the ability Run Away. However, it works in the same way as Gengar’s Levitate does; it increases this character’s movement speed as long as it isn’t in combat. It gets Swift as one of its moves, which works similarly to Espeon’s. Its other move, however, is Quick Attack, which is a simple dash attack. At level 4, it evolves into Leafeon, and it gets the ability Chlorophyll, which has it passively charge a meter as long as it isn’t in tall grass. As long as it’s full, Leafeon will have increased movement speed. Additionally, if it uses a basic attack, it’ll be boosted, which slows down opponent it hits. Swift gets replaced with either Solar Blade or Razor Leaf. The first has Leafeon store light into a blade, then brings it down in front of it. The longer it charges for, the more damage it deals. If Leafeon’s Chlorophyll gauge is full when this move is used, its cooldown will be reduced, and the blade is unleashed immediately. The other has Leafeon fire five leaves in a cone-shaped fashion, where they’ll stick to the ground in front of it. Using it again will have the leaves return to Leafeon, and will deal more damage. If all five hit one Pokemon, Leafeon gets a shield. At level 6, Quick Attack gets replaced with either Aerial Ace or Leaf Blade. The first is a more powerful version of Quick Attack, which Leafeon can have two reserves of, with the added benefit of guaranteeing the next basic attack is boosted. The other has Leafeon dash forward, surrounding itself with a ring of leaves. If the outer part hits, it’ll slow down the opponent and deal increased damage, as well as charge Leafeon’s Chlorophyll gauge. At level 8, Leafeon gets the Unite Move Emerald Two-Step, which has it leap forward and decreases any struck Pokemon’s movement speed, then jumps up before landing. Opponents closer to Leafeon will take more damage. At level 10, Leafeon will take reduced damage while charging Solar Blade, and Razor Leaf’s shield will be more durable. At level 12, it’ll take less time to store a use of Aerial Ace, and Leaf Blade will have a reduced cooldown if the outer ring hits multiple opponents.
