Pokemon Unite: Mewtwo

There are two versions of Mewtwo that have similarities. X is a melee attacker, and Y is a ranged attacker, but both have Pressure as an ability, which will increase their mega gauge every time they land a basic attack, which, in turn, will raise their stats; the X version will have its attack, defense, and special defense go up, while the Y version will have its special attack and basic attack speed go up. Once it reaches level 5 and the gauge is full, it will mega evolve, which will raise its movement speed; X will have its basic attack will do the same amount of damage, but it restores its HP, while Y will have increased ranged on its basic attacks, which will also deal damage to opponents nearby that are struck by it, and decrease their movement speed. However, this transformation is temporary, and once it wears off, the gauge resets. Both get Confusion and Barrier initially, the first of which will leave an opponent unable to act briefly, while the other will grant Mewtwo a shield and increase its movement speed. Both, at level 5, will have Confusion replaced with either Psystrike or Future Sight. The first will direct psychic waves at an opponent, decreasing their movement speed, until the last one throws the opponent into the air, along with any nearby opponents. X will take reduced damage while using this move, while Y will deal more damage to opponents that are farther away. The other will decrease an opponent’s movement speed and make it take more damage briefly. After a set amount of time, it’ll deal damage based on how much damage was dealt to the opponent. For X, it initially pulls the opponent closer, while for Y, it will shove them. At level 7, Barrier gets replaced with either Recover or Teleport. The first is an improved version of Barrier, with the added benefit of healing it whenever it gets struck by an opponent in X’s case or anytime it hits an opponent in Y’s case. If the shield gets broken, its moves will have a reduced cooldown, and its mega gauge will increase. The other works similarly to Ralts’ Teleport, but it also buffs Mewtwo’s movement speed and damage dealt for a brief period of time. At level 9, Mewtwo gets its Unite Move Infinite Psyburn. This will attempt to strike all opponents on the field with a large blast, although it can miss. If it lands, they’re left unable to act for a short period of time, and, in X’s case, their defense will drop, while in Y’s case, their special defense will drop. At level 11, Psystrike will decrease movement speed further, the amount of damage opponents take from Future Sight will increase. At level 13, Recover will heal more HP, while Teleport will allow Mewtwo to deal more damage.
