Pokemon Unite: Gyarados

Magikarp is a melee all-rounder whose ability is Rattled, which will increase his movement speed anytime it takes a hit, and it can stack up to five times. It has a choice of two moves, Splash and Flail. The first has him jump to a designated location, and a maximum of three reserves can be kept for it. The other deals damage, with it being more powerful the less HP he has. Unlike other Pokemon, Magikarp does not evolve at a specific level; instead, it has an effort meter, which is filled a bit anytime he scores a goal, lands a hit, uses Splash, knocks out a Pokemon, or makes an assist. Once it’s full, he will evolve into Gyarados, and will get two new moves. Flail gets replaced with either Aqua Tail or Dragon Breath. The first has him swing his tail for up to five times while the button is held, and if three of those land, it can use an additional one, which has a wider range and more power. The other has him exhale a gust which, if it lands, will deal damage, and boost his basic attack speed and power for a brief period of time; the more opponent it hits, the faster it will get. Splash gets replaced with either Bounce or Waterfall. The first works similar to Splash although it deals damage. Additionally, it can be charged to go farther, and doing so will grant it a shield. If it hits, opponents will have their movement speed decreased. The other is three dash attacks, with the user being able to change directions once they stop. Landing the second hit will grant Gyarados a shield, and doing so with the third will throw the opponent. At level 9, Gyarados gets the Unite Move Dragon Current, which has Gyarados dive underwater while the button is held, where it cannot be targeted nor use moves, but it can move. Once the button is released, Gyarados resurfaces and hits any nearby opponents. If it’s held for long enough, it will slow opponent it hits, and if it’s held for even longer, then it will throw opponents. At level 11, Dragon Breath will deal more damage and boost his basic attack beyond the increase in stats from doing so, and Aqua Tail’s second hit deals additional damage based on how much HP the opponent lost. At level 13, Bounce’s shield will be more durable, and Waterfall will have a shorter cooldown. Gyarados’s ability is Moxie, which reduces the cooldown of its moves when it knocks out a Pokemon.
