Pokemon Unite: Darkrai

Darkrai is a melee speedster with the ability Bad Dreams, which causes any nearby sleeping Pokemon to take damage over time and take increased damage while drowsing. Its basic attack will only be boosted if it lands on a sleeping Pokemon, which will have increased range and restore the user’s HP. It initially has a choice of two moves, Calm Mind and Hypnosis. The first boosts its special attack, special defense, and movement speed briefly while the other deals damage and causes the opponent to fall asleep. At level 5, Hypnosis gets replaced with either Dark Void or Shadow Claw. Both moves mark opponents when they land, and when they are struck by a basic attack, they lose those marks and fall asleep. The first works similarly to Sableye’s Feint Attack, while the other creates a line in front of it which deals damage, and it can be used again to strike opponents in front of it. At level 7, Calm Mind gets replaced with either Nasty Plot or Calm Mind. The first has it gain a counter, and when it uses a basic attack, it’ll deal more damage based on how many it used prior; additionally, a maximum of two uses can be stored for this move at a time. The second has it hide in the shadows and create six areas around it, which it can move freely between and attack nearby opponents who are within them. At level 9, it gets its Unite Move Your Worst Nightmare, which sends a chosen nearby opponent into an area briefly with only it and the user inside, where neither of them can interact with teammates, opponents, goal zones, or berries until the move is done. This also resets the user’s move cooldowns. At level 11, Dark Void slows struck opponents, and Shadow Claw will deal more damage in addition to the attack boost from leveling up. At level 13, Nasty Plot will have its cooldown reset when an opponent falls asleep, and Dark Pulse will grant the user a shield when it lands.
