Pokemon Unite: Alolan Raichu

The Pikachu that evolves in Unite is a ranged attacker which gets the same ability as the Pikachu which does not evolve. Additionally, its basic attack works the same way, although hers doesn’t deal as much damage everything else equal. It has a choice of two moves, either Thundershock or Thunder Wave. The first is a less powerful version of the same move that the Pikachu which does not evolve uses, while the other is a slightly more powerful version of Thundershock. At level 5, she evolves into Alolan Raichu and gets the ability Surge Surfer, which allows it to use basic attacks while moving, and to dash once it lands a boosted attack or move. It will need to land four basic attacks to get a boosted one, with the benefit of it being able to damage all five opponents at once if they’re close enough. Lastly, at this level, Thundershock gets replaced with either Stored Power or Electro Ball. The first increases her basic attack speed, with the next six it uses ejecting an electric blast that deals additional damage. The other has her throw an electric orb that stays in place for a brief period of time as a damage-dealing obstacle, with two reserves being able to be kept for this move. At level 7, Thunder Wave gets replaced with either Psychic or Thunderbolt. The first creates an area that slows struck opponents down and allows her to deal additional damage to them for a brief period of time. Any Electro Balls that are near this move will be pulled towards the center. The other is a beam that paralyzes opponents and will set off any Electro Balls struck by it. At level 9, she gets the Unite Move Thunderstorm Aerial, which creates a star-shaped area that slows any opponents in it; additionally, if she hits any opponent in this area with a basic attack, the next will be guaranteed to be boosted. At level 11, Stored Power’s blast will reduce any struck opponent’s special defense, which can stack up to three times, and Electro Ball’s damage will linger briefly after it lands. At level 13, Psychic will continually deal damage in the area, and Thunderbolt will render struck opponent’s unable to act briefly instead of paralyzing.
