Ike, otherwise known as the Radiant Hero of Legend, wields Ragnell with just one hand. I will be analyzing his first set of special moves.
His neutral special is Eruption. This move deals about 10% damage uncharged. Fully charged, this move deals about 35% damage if the bottom of the sword hits, 28% damage if the middle of the sword hits, and 26% damage if the top of the sword hits. This move is powerful, but the charge cannot be held and will be executed once it reaches full charge. This move deals 10% damage to Ike fully charged. It can also instantly explode a Blast Box.
His side special is Quick Draw. This move deals about 6% damage uncharged and 13% damage fully charged. The charge cannot be held but it will not be fired automatically after being fully charged. You’ll hear a ding when this move is fully charged. The more of a charge, the farther you’ll travel. This move can be used for recovery, but makes Ike helpless in the air. It does stop at edges, though, so you don’t have to worry about Ike being helpless if he uses this on the ground.
His up special is Aether. This move deals multiple hits and can meteor smash as Ike plunges. If you’re using this move repeatedly to grab onto an edge, there is a limited number of times before this will fail, so be careful.
His down special is Counter. Anyone who hits Ike while this move is in play will be dealt 1.2 times the damage of the original move. It will always deal at least 10% damage.
