If you’ve been keeping up with the latest news on Pokemon Sun and Moon, then you know about the Ultra Beasts. However, you only know about UB-01. Luckily, we got news more news on them.
You’re probably thinking that since the first one revealed was called UB-01, or Ultra Beast 1, then the next one should be called something like UB-02. Well, you’re both right and wrong in making that assumption. The next one is called UB-o2, but there are two of them: UB-02 Absorption and UB-02 Beauty. The one you see is dependent on the version you choose: you’ll see UB-02 Absorption in Sun or UB-02 Beauty in Moon.
This isn’t much news on its own, but the trailer also showed UB-02 Absorption and UB-02 Beauty trying to attack Hala, but Tapu Koko defending him. So, perhaps the Ultra Beasts and Alola Guardian Deity Pokemon share some sort of connection.
