Pokemon Unite: Tyranitar

Larvitar is a melee all-rounder, whose basic attack is boosted every third use that also stuns the opponent for a brief period of time. It ability is Guts, which raises its attack for a short while once it has received enough damage, but it does have a cooldown. It has a choice of two moves, Bite or Rock Polish. The first doesn’t do anything special unless the opponent’s HP was low enough or was lowered enough to a certain percentage, in which case the opponent will be unable to move for a short period of time. The other also doesn’t do anything special, but if it hits an opponent it increases Larvitar’s attack for a brief period of time. At level 5, Larvitar evolves into Pupitar and gets the ability Shed Skin, which removes its status effects and is granted a shield if it takes enough damage, but it also has a cooldown. Additonally, Bite gets replaced with either Stone Edge or Dark Pulse. The first creates an area that deals more damage to the opponent if they are closer to Pupitar. This move can be used up to 3 times in a row in a set amount of time, with each one increasing the area of effect. The other works similarly to Bite but has a wider range. Additionally, it will deal more damage if an opponent is hit by this move again in a certain amount of time. At level 9, Pupitar evolves into Tyranitar, and gets the Unite Move Tyrannical Rampage. This increases Tyranitar’s movement speed, and its basic attacks become stronger. Additionally, any opponent who has their HP fall below a certain amount will be KO’d immediately if hit by one of these basic attacks. Tyranitar gets the ability Sand Stream, which creates a vortex of sand around Tyranitar whenever it uses a move. This boosts its defenses and deals continuous damage to anyone close enough to it. Rock Polish also gets replaced by either Ancient Power or Sand Tomb. The first has Tyranitar charge power, then creates a shock wave that deals damage and leaves nearby opponents unable to act for a short period of time. While charging, it has hindrance resistance, increased movement speed, and gets a shield. If Tyranitar lands this move, it gets a piercing effect, which ignores defense boosts and shields. Also, it can release a second shock wave, which slows opponents down and gives Tyranitar a second shield. The shield reaches maximum strength if 3 opponents are hit. The other has Tyranitar leap to a chosen area. During its jump, it can leave any opponents in its path unable to act for a short while. When it lands, it creates an area that deals continuous damage and slows down opponents that walk through it. If Tyranitar uses this move while inside the area, it will pull opponents closer to it. Additionally, it gets a piercing effect and increased defenses while inside. At level 11, Dark Pulse gets a shorter cooldown, and Stone Edge deals more damage (in addition to the attack increase from leveling up). At level 13, the shields granted by Ancient Power become tougher, and Sand Tomb’s area of effect will last for longer.
