Mario Party 8

Mario has been in a lot of game series. One of those game series is called Mario Party. They have at least eight of them. Who knows, they might be making more and have already made more. Anyway, I got Mario Party 8 from my friend Bryce in exchange for one of my video games. I can’t remember which game I gave him. Eh, it doesn’t matter. I started playing Mario Party 8 again because I remembered how fun it was. Bryce’s account is still on there, but I don’t use it. I made my own account. I played the game enough so I can give a review. First of all, this game is a party game. If you don’t have other people with you it’s not as fun. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of friend over here, so I almost always have to play by myself. There are 14 characters you can choose from, but 2 of them you have to unlock. These characters are Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Birdo, Waluigi, Wario, Toad, Toadette, Dry Bones, Bowser, Hammer Bro and Blooper. I haven’t unlocked Hammer Bro and Blooper. I actually don’t know how. But it might have something to do with the shop. Yes, there’s a shop you can get stuff from. Each game you play will get you 20 tickets, which can be used to buy stuff from the shop. I haven’t bought anything from there yet. It’s probably because most of the things you can buy there don’t really do much. Anyway, back to the actual game. There are six stages you can choose from, but one of them you have to unlock. Again, I don’t know how to unlock it, I just have to look that up, I guess. Each stage is different. No two stages are exactly alike. One of them takes place on an island, another one takes place on a train, another one takes place in a house, another one takes place in a tree, another one takes place in a town, and the last one I think takes place in outer space, but I’m not entirely sure. So yeah that’s all this game has to offer. It’s just like a board game except better because it’s a video game. So in conclusion, this game is fun, but it’s more fun with other people. I wish they had put it in an online multiplayer mode, where you could play with other people all around the world.  Maybe they should put that in the next Mario Party. Or maybe they already did. If they did, I’m getting that game.
