Mario, otherwise known as “Mr. Video Game Himself”, has been in the Super Smash Bros Roster since the original. The game would not be complete without him. I am here to analyze his first set of special moves.
Mario’s neutral special is the Fireball. This move deals between 4% and 5% damage. In addition to that, it can also:
- Instantly detonate a Blast Box
- Be absorbed, reflected, or pocketed
Mario’s side special is the Cape. This move deals about 7% damage. In addition to that, it can:
- Flip an opponent
- Reflect projectiles not exceeding 50% damage
Mario’s up special is the Super Jump Punch. This move can deal about 12% damage, considering every part of the move lands. It sends Mario flying upwards at a diagonal angle.
Mario’s down special is the F.L.U.D.D. This move deals no damage, but instead pushes opponents away. The more it is charged, the more water comes out of it. It does not have to be used instantly after it is charged. In addition to all of this, this move can also:
- Be pocketed or reflected
Is Mario one of your go-to characters?
