Super Smash Bros for Wii U: Ganondorf

Ganondorf, also known as the King of Darkness, is the main villain in the Legend of Zelda series. Equipped with the Triforce of Power, he is one tough guy. However, he is rather slow. I will be analyzing his first set of special moves.

His neutral special is Warlock Punch. This move is slow, but can deal anywhere from 30% damage to 42% damage. If your opponent is not expecting this or is dizzy, this move is a perfect low-damage KO move. You can increase the damage of this move by turning around immediately after pushing the special button. Landing this move in the air also deals more damage than when dealt on the ground, but you will have to jump off a high platform or have a Bunny Hood if you want to find enough time to pull this move off before landing.

His side special is Flame Choke. If you have two lives left and your opponent only has one, this move can be a perfect way to end the match. If you use this move on the ground, you will grab your opponent for 12% damage and throw them towards the ground for 4% damage. If you use this move in the air, however, you will grab your opponent and bring them towards the ground. If you do this off the ledge, it will definitely KO them, but it will also KO you as well.

His up special is Dark Dive. This move make you grab onto an opponent, then make them explode a few seconds later. If you don’t quite grab on to them, you can still uppercut them with this move.

His down special is Wizard’s Foot. This move can meteor smash opponents, but it also sends you flying towards the ground when used in the air. On the ground, you propel yourself forwards with a powerful kick.

If you could have any of the Triforces, which one would you want?
