Bayonetta, otherwise known as the Umbra Witch, is the seventh and final DLC character. She is from the Bayonetta series, and has an interesting down special. I’ll get to that later. I will be analyzing her only set of special moves.
Her neutral special is Bullet Climax. This move shoots a flurry of bullets. It hits multiple times, but it can be charged so each hit deals more damage.
Her side special is Heel Slide. This move works differently whether used on the ground or in the air. On the ground, she slides into the opponent. After that, if the special button is pressed, she can kick the opponent away. In the air, it can be used twice as long as the first kick lands.
Her up special is Witch Twist. This move does not give Bayonetta much height, but she can use it twice after she uses her second jump in the air.
Her down special is Witch Time. This move is a unique type of counter, as it does not deal damage back, but prevents you from taking damage and slows them down, similar to the Timer item. It lasts for longer if the opponent has more damage and it lasts for less time if it is used more often. If it is activated too late, Bayonetta takes half damage from that move and disappears and reappears somewhere else on the stage.
